End of January 2024, between 22nd and 26th, James Bolton from IRIS Technology Solutions visited Evonik‘s team in Wesseling, Germany as part of the Industrial Pilot Plants demonstrations of NanoPAT, associated in this case with nanostructured silica (Case Study 2), to validate the Turbidity Spectrometry (TUS) technology in a pilot environment.
IRIS installed and tested the TUS system in Evonik’s 160 L R+D reactor. Several turbidity measurements were performed for one of Evonikâs SiO2 precipitation reactions until the gelation point was reached.
