The collaborations between NanoPAT partners continue being quite intensive during this Autumn of 2022. On 19-20 October 2022, some colleagues from BRAVE visited FLUDINOVA’s facilities in Porto, showing them around and introducing them their business and products, focusing concretely on Fluidinova’s industrial plant and production process.
The goal of the visit was to prepare the future installation of the OF2i technology, the OF2i B1 PAT sensor, at the Fluidinova plant, which will be used for online quality control in the production of hydroxyapatite nanocrystals (Case Study 3).
During their stay, they discussed the several steps of the process and validated the place where the OF2i sensor will be implemented. Some samples were also collected for BRAVE to do preliminary analysis that will be needed for the future implementations.
Additionally to the “technical” meetings we can highlight the nice face-to-face conversations and the tasty Portuguese food and wine!
