On Thursday 17th March 2022, the EU H2020 OYSTER project organised an Open Day Workshop, as its final exploitation and dissemination workshop.
It was a fantastic opportunity to meet the OYSTER partners and to learn about the activities and results of the project. It was an online workshop with interesting presentations of the project partners and exhibitions on their EXPO page. Furthermore, the workshop gave the chance to discuss opportunities and challenges in development of materials characterisation Open Innovation Environment (OIE) between all attendees.
One of the outputs of the OYSTER project, was the publication of the Materials characterisation â Terminology, metadata and classification paper (CEN Workshop Agreement â CWA 17815:2021) in October 2021, to propose a widely agreed and common basic architecture for materials characterization data (CHADA), which can be used as a building block for the most complex characterization case studies, also comprising interactions with modelling and process workflows.
Several NanoPAT partners represented the project in the venue, as Devendra Joshi, from TEMASOL, and Gottlieb Georg Lindner, from Evonik.
NanoPAT contributed to this CWA and continues following the development of CHADA in the EU H2020 project NanoMECommons (as the OYSTER project comes to an end in March 2022), to support with the pre-standardisation efforts of NanoPATâs technologies.
