On 26-27 January 2022, the whole Consortium met in San Sebastian (Spain) for getting up-to-date with the developments and achievements during the last months.
It was a great get-together with lots of very fruitful discussions that set the basis for the upcoming months!

During our stay in San Sebastian, we were able to visit UPV/EHU labs, being able to see how our PATs are being tested there!

Special thanks to our Basque colleagues in San Sebastian (UPV/EHU and POLYMAT) for hosting such a great meeting, and sharing with us a bit of your Euskera language and culture!

“Die Lange Nacht der Forschung” (The Long Night of Research) is a biannual event, that takes throughout Austria, offering free access to experience science and research first-hand in all nine federal provinces.

Within the context the M4 Consortium Meeting of the Horizon Europe MOZART project, Cnano organised a Citizen Engagement Event on plating technologies to promote the Safe-and-Sustainable-by-Design (SSbD) approach during the electroless and electroplating process.

This year, the Austrian Centre of Industrial Biotechnology (acib) and the University of Applied Sciences St. Pölten organized jointly a hands-on event for Austria under the motto “Life is Science – in a digital world,” targeted to all ages, from school classes to families to students considering careers in science, focused on the topics of Health & Food, Climate & Environment, Digital Transformation and Culture & Community at the crossroads of cutting-edge research and everyday life.

Susana Gómez, a colleague from IRIS Technology Solutions (Spain), visited POLYMAT (University of Basque Country, Spain) on 11 July 2022 (14-18th June 2021).

On the occasion of the NanoCommons final conference, the whole nanosafety community came together for the NanoWeek 2022, which took place in Limassol, Cyprus from 20-24 June 2022. Led by the NanoCommons project, NanoPAT and other 17 other currently running nanosafety projects joined forces and supported organizing the event.

The Athens Conference on Advances in Chemistry (ACAC2022), was held from 26 June – 1 July 2022 in Athens, Greece, in the campus of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA). NanoPAT was represented in the event.

The NanoPAT project was presented at the BioNanoNet Gold Member Webinar on 31 May.

The GEP-SLAP 2022 congress (Meeting of the Group Specialized in Polymers of the Spanish Royal Society of Chemistry and Spanish Royal Society of Physics and Latin American Symposium) has taken place in San Sebastian from the 8th to the 12nd of May 2022.

The 10th edition of the PhD Students Workshop on Polymer Reaction Engineering took place on 20th-22nd April 2022 in San Sebastian, Spain.
