Aligned with Case Study 5, the activities regarding the implementation of NanoPAT’s technologies at Cnano move forward! From 8 to 12 May 2023, three colleagues of BRAVE (Thomas Gruber, Doris Auer and Michael Schnur) visited Cnano facilities in Athens (Greece) to test BRAVE’s OF2i sensor prototype “BRAVE B-Continuous”, alias “B1”, for the online monitoring of SiC nanoparticles in Cnano’s electroplating baths for the production of nickel nanocomposite coatings.
The test installation was a good opportunity to plan, implement and review the workflow for transport. During their visit they presented the new “user” login with simplified interface for the software and performed different experiments to monitor the particle size, particle size distribution and particle concentration of samples on-site.
