NanoPAT partner BRAVE Analytics took part at the BioNanoMed 2023 conference at the University of Graz (Austria) from April 12th to 14th, 2023. BioNanoMed is a small and very specialized conference targeted at researchers in the field of nanotechnology in biology and medicine. A total of 140 people attended plus around 8 companies with booths. The three days of the 11th International Congress Nanotechnology in Biology & Medicine were packed with presentations and talks on the following subjects:
- Nanomaterials for Biomedical Applications & Regenerative Medicine
- Drug Delivery and Nanotherapy
- Nanotechnology for Imaging, Sensing and Diagnostics
- Biophysical Nanotechnology and Single-Molecule Technologies
- Pharmaceutical Nanotechnology and Drug Design
The conference was a great place to promote the NanoPAT technologies to this specialist group. Having just launched their benchtop nanoparticle analyzer in March 2023, BRAVE Analytics was keen to network among scientists in this area and possibly discover new fields of application. They also used their brand-new exhibition booth equipment for the first time (a lit-up backdrop and counter in BRAVE corporate identity and one of the first BRAVE B-Curious analyzers on a turntable), getting lots of positive feedback on the design of both.
Attending the event were Christian Hill (CEO), Vitan Strasser (Sales and Product Specialist), and Sarah Knights (Marketing and Communications). Christian gave a poster presentation (âOptofluidic Force Induction Scheme for the Characterization of Nanoparticle Ensemblesâ) and Vitan gave a company presentation. We enjoyed a number of fruitful discussions and came away with 4 to 6 interesting opportunities for further collaboration and or measuring campaigns with OF2i. Follow-up talks and demonstrations are planned.
