NanoPAT partner BRAVE Analytics took part at the Bio-Europe Spring 2023 exhibition in Basel (Switzerland) from March 20th to 22nd, 2023.
Bio-Europe Spring is specially targeted at biotech and biopharma companies wanting to set up collaborations with other biotech companies and pharmaceutical companies, and also meet potential investors and business developers. From this point of view, it was the perfect mix for BRAVE and NanoPAT.
BRAVE had just launched their nanoparticle analyzer for the lab and was organizing an interesting project in the field of upstream processing of virus-like particles so they expected interest from similar companies in this area. The exhibition was a great opportunity to promote the NanoPAT technologies to this very specialist audience. Around 10,000 people attended the event. Vitan Strasser (Sales and Product Specialist) was representing the project there.
BRAVE Analytics shared space on the LISA Austria booth. In the weeks running up to the event it was possible to research attendees on the Bio-Europe Spring portal and send invitations to meet up with interesting contacts. This process was relatively time-intensive but resulted in a total of 13 scheduled face-to-face meetings for the three-day event. Aside from these preorganized meetings, Vitan talked to around 20 to 30 people every day at the booth and at evening activities. Follow-up calls are planned with 14 contacts. It is already highly likely that BRAVE will organize a loaner instrument for a potential customer to test at their site for 4 weeks. All told, participation at the exhibition was a great success and we plan to take part again next year.
