At the end of October (24th-28th October 2022), Manuel Nigg, from Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW), visited the facilities of UP/innoFSPEC for knowledge exchange, training and networking purposes, as well as to do some refractive index measurements. ZHAW is involved in Case Study 4. Concretely, Manuel is monitoring zeolite synthesis processes with PDW spectroscopy. Currently he is working on the modification of the probe fibres to make them more resistant to the harsh reaction conditions during the zeolite synthesis.
