At the end of September (28th September), colleagues from our technology developer BRAVE Analytics (Marko Simic and Christian Hill) visited the headquarters in Athens of the industrial partner Creative Nano (Katerina Mavronasou, Alexandros Zoikis Karathanasis, Andreas Gondikas and Alexis Grigoropoulos to mention some). Although the NanoPAT project started some time ago, this was the first-ever in-person meeting between BRAVE Analytics and Cnano!
Aside from a tour of the premises, the focus of this visit was on discussing the installation of BRAVEâs technology at the industrial pilot plant aligned to Case Study 5. The team also discussed about how the production process runs on a daily basis, the challenges that arise, and also in which direction Cnano would like to develop their production. One major point in the talks was how the BRAVE B1 process instrument can contribute to these improvements. Depending on what process feedback Cnano is looking for, BRAVE B1 will deliver results which can be used to optimize the production process. The group also discussed the overarching goals for process monitoring and control, and how they will work together to achieve these goals.
