The GEP-SLAP 2022 congress (Meeting of the Group Specialized in Polymers of the Spanish Royal Society of Chemistry and Spanish Royal Society of Physics and Latin American Symposium) has taken place in San Sebastian from the 8th to the 12nd of May 2022.
More than 380 researchers have participated in the congress, 242 from Spain, 63 from Latin America, 68 from the rest of Europe and 8 from other non-European countries. From them, 140 have been PhD or postdoc students, while the major part of the rest of participants were coming from academia. Nevertheless, there has been also been a session devoted to Industrial presentations, with more than ten contributions.
The NanoPAT project was represented in the congress by Usue Aspiazu, from UPV/POLYMAT, who presented the work carried out on the topic of inline monitoring of emulsion polymerization reactions of acrylates by PDW Spectroscopy. She has had the chance to present it in a Flash presentation (5 minutes) and in a poster presentation (DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.6562374).
