Nicola Palombo, a colleague from IRIS Technology Solutions (Spain), has recently visited POLYMAT (University of Basque Country, Spain) (14-18th June 2021). He brought the Turbidity Spectrometry (TUS) equipment developed at IRIS to the POLYMAT laboratories in San Sebastian, Basque Country.
During his stay at POLYMAT, Nicola installed, tested and calibrated the TUS equipment so far with manual dilution, with the help of Oihane Llorente, from POLYMAT, who performed the nanoparticles synthesis. The system can be further used by POLYMAT team. Furthermore, Nicola has trained POLYMAT research-team in how to use the TUS equipment to analyse the polymer particle size.
