From 15 until 17 May 2024 took place the third and last PDW measuring campaign at Arkema.
Colleagues from PDW Analytics (Roland Haas) visited Arkema’s facilities in Lacq (France) to compare the results of the measurements using the original PDW probe-head and the adapted one, as part of our case study on zeolites (Case Study 4). For this, an additional batch of FAU zeolite was performed with a classical PDW probe-head. The goal was to verify if the variation on the PDW results comes from the process itself or if it was related with the technology of the improved probe-head. After the campaign they were able to proof that the PDW measurements results look better with the conventional probe, as they show less variation on the signal and closer value for the final particle size.
